This is a musical blog. I am attempting to write, record and post a piece of new music every month or so which I hope you will enjoy. Most pieces are accompanied by a picture from various photographers (as indicated).
I am a freelance composer, instrumentalist and teacher.
My musical background has involved being a violist in symphony orchestras to fiddling and accordion playing in various genres including jazz, folk, tango and experimental music.

Hi John, lovely to hear your latest piece. Amazing glass harmonica and I wasn’t expecting to be tipped into the darker string orchestration at the end of the piece. This is a fab idea. The combination of a painting and a piece once a month! Karen .
